Gallowgate is a television productions company which was founded in 2004 and is owned by two of British TV’s most successful stars, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
Gallowgate’s latest commissions include the quiz show Pokerface for ITV and The All Star Cup which was co-produced with TWI for Sky One in 2005 and has since been on ITV1 in 2006.
Prime Web Solutions was approached by Gallowgate in 2006 to design and develop a completely new online website which would showcase the company and its many productions, news articles, press releases and contact details.
Due to the constant need to update the website it was decided that the new Gallowgate website would be based around the PCMS content management system which would provide Gallowgate with an easy to use interface to modify and scale the website as required.
Built using a combination of ASP.NET, HTML, SQL and Flash, the result was a multi-media corporate website which is completely interactive – featuring standard HTML content, streaming audio and video, breaking news and a whole host of downloadable media.
